Outdoor recreation conducts surveys after each trip to ascertain the self reported learning and satisfaction of students. Outdoor recreation also conducts climbing classes with set skill sets that must be attained to achieve the ability to use the climbing wall. Surveys and skill set criteria are attached to this section.

By opening the associated document it is highly apparent that no Action is needed as Recreational Sports meets almost all established goals and in areas not met significant growth was still demonstrated. Review will be ongoing, but currently NO ACTION PLANNED.

No action taken as teams are on pace to exceed goals and there are 13 activities planned for the Spring/Summer.

The Recreational Sports Department measures the 10 areas as outlined in the program assessment matrix and guided by the 16 learning domains of CAS.
Associated Goals: 1 Lifelong Learning Skills, 3 Collaboration, 4 Assessment

Indicator Intramural Qualitative And Learning Outcomes  
Using the CAS standards each programmatic area, in this instance Intramurals, is reviewed on multiple levels
Criteria Intramural Qualitative and Learning Outcomes  
Student self assessment questionnaires given to determine effectiveness of learning outcome goals as established in the 16 learning domains of CAS
Finding Intramural Results (Qualitative)
The results from each sport survey demonstrated a level at or higher than acceptable (as outlined in the strategic plan)levels of an overall learning outcome rating of 3 and a satisfaction rating of 3.5. With this data no change is needed; however professional and student staff will continually upgrade knowledge and go to training clinics to stay current in all rules and best practices.

The results of the posted surveys show ratings well exceeding the acceptable standards. To maintain this the expectation is that though no specific action is taken professional and student staff will attend multiple sports workshops to keep current on rule changes and best practices in the field. Use of technological advances is always expected as is the development of new programs as technology allows
Action Outdoor Recreation
No action is required at this time. Comments were taken into consideration and internal changes (such as menus) have been adjusted. Skill sets are pass fail and self explanatory. Staff is expected to continually seek to add new programs and stay current in best practices.
