GOAL: Fundamental

Objective Ancillary Knowledge Acquisition
To have students acquire a basic knowledge in ancillary sciences, math and criminal justice.

Indicator Calculus Pass Rate
The passing rate for FCH majors in MTH 142 & 143.
Criteria Calc Pass Rate
60% of the FCH majors enrolled in MTH 142 & 143 are expected to earn grades of C or better.
Finding Math Pass Rate
The passing rate for on-sequence MTH 142 & 143 are 54.5% and 70.4%, respectively. The rates in trailer sections are lower (61.3% for MTH 142 in spring, but 41.7% for MTH 143 in fall).
Indicator Physics Pass Rate
The passing rate for FCH majors in PHY 138/118 & 139/119.
Criteria Phys Pass Rate
75% of the FCH majors enrolled in PHY 138/118 & 139/119 are expected to earn grades of C or better.
Finding Physics Pass Rate
The passing rates for on-sequence PHY 138 & 139 are 72.7% and 78.1%, respectively. The rates for trailer sections are higher (86.4% for PHY 138 in spring and 100% for PHY 139 in fall).

The passing rate for FCH majors in CHM 138/118 & 139/119.
Criteria Gen Chem Pass
60% of the FCH majors enrolled in CHM 138/118 & 139/119 are expected to earn grades of C or better.
Finding CHM 138 & 139 pass
The passing rate for on-sequence CHM 138 and 139 are 73.3% and 71.4%, respectively. The rates in trailer sections are lower (50.0% for CHM 138 in the spring and 31.6% for CHM 139 in the fall).

The passing rate for on-sequence CHM 238 and 239 are 42.9% and 70.6%, respectively. The rates in trailer sections are varied (58.5% for CHM 238 in spring and 20% for CHM 239 in fall).

Finding Junior Pass Rate
The passing rate for CHM 448 was 93.1% (27/29) and for CHM 440 was 72.7%.
