| MS is a research-based, thesis degree option. This is well-accepted in all fields of Biology. MA is non-thesis, instead focused on generation of a scholarly paper, a secondary rather than primary product. MA has been utilized in the past to deliver content knowledge to secondary educators. | Indicator | Gather Information While there are currently 20 MS students, there are only two MA students. Current and previous MA students will be interviewed as to selection of MA option. Faculty will discuss MA program, and the College of Education will be consulted. |
