Objective Apply Theoretical And Practical Techniques
Students in the theatre program will apply theoretical and practical concepts in the areas of acting, directing, design and secondary education.
Associated Goals: Apply Core Concepts, Understanding Of Core Theatre & Musical Theatre Concepts

Indicator Pass All Theatre Classes
Students pursuing a BFA in Theatre will pass all classes in Theatre to be cast or considered for a design, directing or stagemanagement position each semester.
Criteria Preparation outside of class
Preparation outside of the classroom will assist theatre students in passing all areas of theatre
Indicator Professional Exposure
Students pursuing a BFA in Theatre will become aware of the realities in the professional world of theatre by attending and participating in workshops and master classes give by Theatre professionals.
Criteria Participation in Master classes
Participation in master classes and workshops given by theatre professionals in areas of expertise allows for evaluation of skills not always assessed in the classroom.
Finding Professional exposure
Students attending master classes and working with theatre professionals are better prepared to face the "real life" situations in the competitive theatre world.
Finding auditions and callbacks evaluated
Directors will be polled on effectiveness of auditions and subsequent callbacks for students.
