  • I have been teaching turfgrass science and related courses for over 28 years. Many of my former students are currently employed professionally in the turfgrass management and landscape maintenance fields.
  • Experience since 1977 in laboratory and field research to determine soil productivity status, crop growth and development, crop injury through human activities and natural causes, grazing management of forage crops, genetic improvement of crops, fire effects on soils and vegetation, pesticide use on pastures and crops, pesticide leaching, and soil erosion, among others.
  • Published 19 peer reviewed publications and have presented over 60 professional papers or presentations.
  • Have served as thesis chair for 16 students. Currently serving as thesis chair for four students.
