Program Description
The Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology requires the completion of courses through both the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. This graduate certificate will provide students with the necessary tools to critically analyze technology for classroom use and to apply technology to the curriculum in a coherent and intelligent manner. Individuals holding a baccalaureate degree in Education or in a technology-related field with certification to teach would be suitable candidates for this program.
Admissions
Applicants should submit the following directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions:
- Graduate Application
- Application fee
- Official transcript from the baccalaureate degree granting institution
A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
Certificate Requirements
This graduate certificate program requires a minimum of fifteen hours of graduate credit as prescribed in the following plan.
