Objective 1. Effective Training & Leadership Development
Provide effective training and leadership development skills to individuals operating as Chief/Director of county probation departments through the New Chiefs Development Program.

Program evaluation conducted at the completion of the training.
Criteria 1. 4.0+ Satisfaction Rating
Obtain an average score above 4.0 on a 5.0 scale together written participant comments.
Finding 1. Satisfactory Program Rating
The New Chief''''s Development Program successfully achieved a 4.0+ satisfaction rating.
Actions for Objective:

Action 1. New Chief's Program will be continued
Will be continued for next year
Action 1.a. New Chief's Breakfast Selection
The New Chief''s program will sample a different menu for the breakfast based on participant evaluations.

The Basic Jail Administrators Program successfully achieved a 4.0+ satisfaction rating.

The Jail Administrator Basic training will be offered twice during the next fiscal year due to it being an election year

Provide effective training to women in various aspects of the criminal justice field through the Women in Criminal Justice Program.

Criteria 3. 4.0+ Satisfaction Rating
Obtain an average score above 4.0 on a 5.0 scale together written participant comments.

The Women in Criminal Justice Program successfully achieved a 4.0+ satisfaction rating.
Actions for Objective:

Action 3. Women in CJ will be continued
Will be continued next year
Action 3.a. Offer More Breakout Sessions
There will be more breakout sessions offered during the Women in CJ program next year.
Action 3.b. Participants Will Receive More Incentives
More incentive gifts (t-shirts & bags) will be offered next year during the Women in CJ program.
Action 3.c. Solicit more Exhibitors
More exhibitors will be solicited in order to participate in the Women in CJ program.
Action 3.d. Solicit more Door Prizes
More door prizes will be solicited for the Women in CJ program.
Action 3.e. Continue with Leadership Panel
The leadership panel this year at the Women in CJ program was a success and will be repeated next year.

Provide effective training by training new Juvenile Detention Officers (1 day - 1 year) on the 12 mandatory topics required by the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission so that participants can be certified JDOs through TJPC.
